Projects - Fixtures - Fixture Sheet
The fixture sheet lists every fixture added to your project, and gives you tools to manage them.
Here is where you add, delete, move, and edit Fixtures. Every attribute available to a Fixture is editable here.

Select by Fixture Number
Select fixtures by their fixture number.
Use the same format as Adding fixtures, single numbers (101), single numbers separated by commas (101,201), ranges of numbers using 'thru' or the dash (-) symbol (101 thru 111), or any combination separated by commas (101, 201, 301 thru 311, 451 - 461)
Filter
The filter lets you show only the fixtures that match your criteria. It doesn't select them, but it lets you easily narrow down the fixture sheet to a manageable length.
You can filter based on: Fixture Type, Fixture Mode, Position, and Universe.
Enter your filter criteria and press enter to apply the filter. Clear the filter text box and press enter to re-show hidden fixtures.
Attribute Groups
At the top of the Fixture List you'll find buttons to show certain attributes, useful to focus on a specific task, like patching, without seeing all the other attributes.
shows every attribute
shows the most basic attributes: Fixture Type, Position, Fixture Number, Channel Number, Purpose, Unit Number, System, Time, Cost, and Weight
shows attributes related for patching in addition to the standard set: DMX Universe, DMX Address, and DMX Footprint
shows the standard attribute list, as well as Circuit Name, Circuit Number, Dimmer, Voltage, Wattage, and Breaker ID
shows Gel Color, and the Gobo 1 and Gobo 2 attributes
shows X, Y, and Z position, plus X, Y, Z rotation
Sorting the Fixture Sheet
By default, the Fixture Sheet is sorted by Fixture Number. You can also sort by Fixture Type, Position, DMX Universe, or DMX Address, by clicking the specific column header.
For the most part, the Fixture Sheet will be sorted by the selected column, then the Fixture Number. DMX Universe and Address are slightly different: DMX Universe sorts by Universe then Fixture Number, ignorning address (so you can repatch a universe quickly by fixture number if desired), while DMX Address sorts by DMX Universe, then Address, then Fixture Number.
Selecting Fixtures
You can edit one fixture at a time, or you can select several fixtures and edit them all at once.
There are multiple ways to select groups of fixtures:
The "Select" link at the top of the Fixture List will select every visible fixture. Any fixtures you've hidden using the various filters will not be selected.
The "Select by Fixture Number" textbox will select fixtures by fixture number.
Clicking on a Fixture Row's Checkbox will add that fixture to the current selection.
Once you've selected any number of fixtures, additional options appear at the bottom of the screen. These options are meant as shortcuts to selecting fixtures based on what you've already selected.
If you choose a selection shortcut with contradicting fixtures already selected, then all fixtures will be deselected, to prevent any mistakes.
Editing groups of fixtures
With multiple fixtures selected, you can edit their attributes all at once
There are generally two ways that each attribute is edited: Either every fixture will get the same value, or the values will increment in a meaningful way
With 20 fixtures selected, setting the voltage to "120" will set all 20 fixture's voltage attribute to 120
On the otherhand, setting the Fixture Number to "101" will set the first fixture number to 101, the second to 102, third to 103, etc.
The fixture you edit will get the first value, then the attribute is incremented in order by fixture number.
Fixture Number increments by one for each fixture, DMX address increments by the DMX footprint for each fixture, while incrementing the universe once the 512 limit is reached. Circuit Number will increment to a max of '#6' then reset to '#1', under the assumption that you're using a standard 6 channel socapex.
Standard Attributes
For the most part, any attribute with a text box works the way you think it would. Enter a value, and that attribute is updated. Multiple fixtures will either get the same value or an incremented value, and most attributes will let you enter any sensible value, and try to work with it.
Fixture Numbers that are both text and numbers will still attempt to increment the number, but only if the number is at the end of the text (entering "2aura" will cause every fixture to have the Fixture Number "2aura", while "aura2" will increment the "2" at the end so that each fixture has a unique fixture number)
Voltage and Wattage are other standard attributes with special handling: entering a number will let certain worksheets and reports to work smarter. A voltage of "120 - 208v" is treated as an unknown value and ignored, while entering "120" will cause the Circuiting worksheet to warn you if you try to use a 208v circuit. The Circuiting worksheet will also show the fixture types amperage, instead of just the wattage.
Wattage is similar, entering a real number will let reports and worksheets calculate load and amperage.
Special Attributes
Some attributes are special and can't simply be edited using a text box
Clicking on either Fixture Type or Fixture Mode will open a dialog letting you select the Fixture Type and Mode from your enabled inventories.
Changing the Fixture Mode is the same process as changing the Fixture Type. Simply select the same Fixture type as before, then select the new Fixture Mode.
Position is another special attribute, clicking the link will open a dialog letting you select a new position.
Uneditable Attributes
Some attributes are uneditable
DMX Footprint is an attribute of the selected Fixture Mode. To edit it, head to the Inventory screen, then Fixture Types, then find the fixture type and edit the relevent Mode.
Weight is an attribute of the Fixture Type, to edit it, head to Inventory > Fixture Types and edit the Fixture Type.
